Later today, after I hopefully get a healthy ammount of sleep, I'm going to be MCing at Smaller World! I've had all of three rehearsals before this, so I plan on using my phone as a pseudo cue card on stage. I'm honestly really confident in how I'm gonna perform, so that's awesome! In case future me somehow forgets, Smaller world is an event where a bunch of kids from different countries and schools come together to perform. It's at Oriental Hotel, where I'll hopefully be going back to sort-of-working in order to improve my Mandarin. I'm listening to the little radio on my little (Jolike) music player right now. Ok tbh I'm just looking for excuses to type more, I gotta go to bed fr. I should keep updating this site and ACTUALLY make it public. Anyways, yeah. I had my favourite birthday so far yesterday. It was actually so amzingly incredible actually. So like, the first chunk of my day was spent at my internship. We finally started 3d modelling! I was really cool to find out how simple everything actually was. I modelled a set of untensils (which I'll upload in the art section) and got to watch my internship teacher begin modelling the other intern's character. I should be able to replicate something like that now that I've seen how it's done live. Cool stuff! Fun stuff! Also I told the other intern that I'd send them my site once I made it public. So, if you're reading this, hi lol. Thanks for checking it out. ANYWAYS moving on to my birthday. So the day before my birthday I made myself a caketopper, which was just Kasane Teto in Kendrick's "Say Drake" pose from the superbowl halftime show. I'll also upload an image of that here somewhere. The cake I got was a strawberry cheesecake which I surprisingly ended up really enjoying! It was delicious in small bites. As for the actual birthday, before I get to the family stuff, shoutout to my friends fr. I got a bunch of snapchat stories and messages wishing me happy birthday and I just. I was actually so happy lol. It genuinely felt crazy seeing how much the people I talked to genuinely loved and cared about me, even people I don't talk to that much were wishing me happy birthday. And my FAMILY, my family did too much. They wrote me FOUR cards and got me a bunch of really thoughtful gifts. I'm so grateful for them and I love them. I love them a lot. I even got green balloons! My siblings created balloon popping minigames! They surprised me with confetti before cutting the cake! Such an amazing, beautiful day. Thinking about everything made me tear up. If all these people care this much about me, and are willing to do this much for me, maybe I'm doing a good job. As a person, y'know? I'm doing a good job. Signing off here, seeya.
I went for the first day of my internship today1!!1!! Also first blog ever lol. If I have a difficult time keeping an irl journal, may as well do it online. So the internship today was pretty fun! The animation studio I'm interning at only goes in office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so I won't be there in person tomorrow. Imma have an online meetup instead, which is fine anyways because it's animation, and I think the most VERY basic stuff on blender has been covered. wanna wear something a bit nicer next time I'm in office though. Maybe a shirt with a collar instead of just a nice shirt with a front pocket, lol. I might finish my bouncing ball animation on blender tonight. Or not, who knows. Anyways, it's nice to be able to yap my day on here instead of having to summarise it on status cafe. Imma keep doing this for sure. Signing off, buh bye!
